Profile:
Jesse is a seasoned Hydrogeologist/Environmental Scientist with over 24 years’ experience in the Groundwater Industry and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Sector, in which has been spent in increasing senior management positions. He blends his experience in working in multidisciplinary environment and knowledge in all the technical and institutional aspects of water supply and sanitation services to provide capacity building for WASH management structures (at district and community level) in areas of water resources quality assessment, project monitoring, operation and maintenance. Jesse currently works with WaterAid Ghana as the Head of Programmes with leadership responsibilities for the programmes department and CP strategic tasks. Prior to this, he was a Senior WASH Advisor at SNV Ghana, Head of Programmes, WaterAid (1st time), Regional Coordinator of the GiZ Eastern & Volta Regions Assistance Project, Hydrogeologist with Ghana Water Company Limited, District Engineer with the DANIDA Volta Region Rural Water and Sanitation Project, Assistant Scientific officer at Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ghana. He has managed projects directly and serves as advisor to project management team with donor support from DANIDA, GTZ/KfW, USAID, EU, Cadbury, DFID, DFAT, WB, Dutch Foreign Ministry, etc. Jesse has developed his capacity and competence in program development and implementation management, networking and relationship management, donor relations, hygiene campaign using the access, build, create, deliver and evaluate (ABCDE) approach, financial management and budgeting and advocacy and influencing among others.
